Ancient Theatre of Taormina
Taormina has a Hellenistic theatre dating back to the third century BC. The remnants of another Hellenistic building have been discovered beneath the Roman cavea. Under Roman administration, the theatre was renovated, most likely around the time of Hadrian or Trajan. It was renovated in the third century AD, with the orchestra converted into an arena and the stage removed.Phone Number : +39094223220
