Maratua Island

Maratua Island is Indonesia’s most remote island, located in the sea near the Malaysian island of Sulawesi. The district administration of Berau East Kalimantan includes Maratua Island. Tarakan is shaped like a little island, long and pointed to the south. The Indonesian Maldives are well-known for its coral reefs and gorgeous fringing reefs, which are dominated by seagrass beds of the halodule uninervis variegated species. The seagrass beds halodule uninervis are home to a variety of fish.
