Canadian Tire Centre

The multipurpose Canadian Tire Centre is situated in the Kanata neighbourhood of western Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Originally called the Palladium, it opened in January 1996. From 1996 to 2006, it was also known as Corel Centre, and from 2006 to 2013, it was called Scotiabank Place.

Since its completion in 1996, the arena has been home to the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL), whose primary use is ice hockey.
