Aviation and Space Museum

Canada’s official museum dedicated to aviation history is called the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. The museum may be found at Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The National Aeronautical Collection was initially established in 1964 at RCAF Station Rockcliffe through the combination of three distinct pre-existing collections. These included the Canadian battle Museum collection, which focused on military aircraft and contained several battle trophies, some of which date back to World War One, and the National Aviation Museum at Uplands, which focused on early aviation and bush flying.
