The Montreal scientific Centre is situated in Montreal’s Old Port on the Quai King-Edward. Originally founded in 2000 under the name iSci Centre, the museum became the Montreal Science Centre in 2002. The Old Port of Montreal company, a branch of the Canada Lands Company, a crown company of the Canadian government, is in charge of running the museum. The museum has an IMAX theatre and interactive science and technology exhibitions.
