Fort Henry National Historic Site

At position Henry, a strategically significant elevated position close to the Cataraqui River’s mouth where it empties into the St. Lawrence River at Lake Ontario’s easternmost point, is the Fort Henry National Historic Site in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The former Lieutenant-Governor of the Province of Quebec, Henry Hamilton, is honoured by the namesake of both the fort and the site upon which it was constructed.
