Historic Yates Mill County Park

Yates Mill is a fully restored gristmill that dates back to approximately 1756 and is situated five miles south of Raleigh, North Carolina’s downtown. Located in the heart of Wake County, it is the focal point of Historic Yates Mill County Park. The restored mill is one of the park’s main attractions, along with a visitor centre with a museum devoted to local natural history and milling, classrooms, an auditorium, and a space for staff and student research.
