Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral

The Primate Archdiocese of Mexico is housed in the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven of Mexico City, also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary of Mexico, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, or simply the Cathedral. It is situated in the Cuauhtémoc district of the Historic Centre of Mexico City, on the north side of Plaza de la Constitución, also known as the Zócalo.
