A mountain range known as the Pyrenees divides France and Spain. From their meeting point with the Cantabrian Mountains, they stretch for about 500 km (310 mi) to the Mediterranean coast’s Cap de Creus. At the summit of Aneto, they reach a maximum elevation of 3,404 meters (11,168 feet).
