Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

In Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan, lies a sizable park and garden called Shinjuku Gyo-en. During the Edo period, the Naitō family initially occupied it as their home. After then, the Japan Imperial Household Agency took charge of it and turned it into a garden. Currently, the Ministry of the Environment is in charge of the national park.
