Al Khazneh

One of the most intricate rock-cut tombs is Al-Khazneh, located in Petra, an ancient Arab city that was part of the Nabatean Kingdom. The Treasury has made appearances in numerous Hollywood productions. It became especially well-known when it was included in the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), when its façade served as a representation of the entry to the Holy Grail’s last resting place during pivotal moments.
