Aspen Downtown

Aspen, the most populated municipality in Pitkin County, Colorado, is a home rule municipality that serves as the county seat. 7,004 people called the city home as of the 2020 US Census. Aspen is located near the Roaring Fork River in a remote region of the Elk Mountains and Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains, on the Western Slope, at an elevation of little less than 8,000 feet above sea level.
