Big Hill Springs Provincial Park

Big Hill Springs Provincial Park is a provincial park located 40 km northwest of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It has a number of springs and tiny waterfalls that cascade down rocky terraces all year long, surrounded by a verdant flora of mosses, bushes, and grasses. The park also has the remains of Alberta’s first industrial creamery and a historic fish hatchery. Hiking, picnics, scenery gazing, wildlife observation, and photography are the park’s principal activities.
