Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center

Situated at 10503 N. Oak Hills Parkway, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70810, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Centre is a 103-acre nature conservation area run by the Recreation and area Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge. For a small price, the public can access it Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. On May 17, 1997, the building opened as BREC’s first park with a focus on nature protection.
