Camelback Mountain

A mountain in Phoenix, Arizona, in the United States is called Camelback Mountain. Its shape, which resembles the head and hump of a kneeling camel, gave rise to the English name. Situated in the Camelback Mountain Echo Canyon Recreation Area, the mountain is a well-known feature in the Phoenix metropolitan area, sandwiched between the town of Paradise Valley and the Arcadia neighbourhood of Phoenix.
