Centennial Botanical Conservatory

In Thunder Bay, Ontario, the south part of the city is home to the Centennial Conservatory. Constructed in 1965, it was made public in 1967 as part of the Centennial Project honouring Canada’s 100th birthday. The conservatory’s main greenhouse, cactus room, and seasonal display room are home to a variety of tropical plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs. The public can use the free, year-round facility, which has benches, walkways, and a wishing well, without payment.
