Culiacan Botanical Garden

The capital and largest city of Culiacán Municipality and the state of Sinaloa, Culiacán, also formally known as Culiacán Rosales, is located in northwest Mexico. On September 29, 1531, the Spanish conquerors Lázaro de Cebreros and Nuño Beltrán de Guzmán established the city, calling it “Villa de San Miguel” in honour of Michael the Archangel, who served as the city’s patron saint.
