Dallas Botanical Gardens

Situated on the southeast edge of White Rock Lake at 8525 Garland Road in East Dallas, Texas, lies the 66-acre Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Most of the grounds were originally part of Rancho Encinal, an estate known as 44 acres (18 ha) that was constructed for geophysicist Everette Lee DeGolyer and his wife, Nell DeGoyler.
