Located in Turner, Oregon, on a tiny area of hilly, forested terrain adjacent to Interstate 5, south of Salem, is the Enchanted Forest, a seasonal theme park. In the late 1960s, Roger Tofte designed and constructed the park by hand over the course of seven years. In 1971, the park saw its initial public opening. Over the past fifty years, numerous extensions have been made, primarily by hand, by Tofte, as a result of its early success.
