Flaming Fountain Memorial

A veterans memorial called the Flaming Fountain Memorial is situated along Capitol Lake’s edge. The memorial honours South Dakotans who have served their nation in times of conflict. During daylight hours, one may observe the waterfall, stone memorial, and fountain, as well as the newly erected “eagle” statue that pays tribute to the Sioux Nation warriors who served in the contemporary conflicts of our nation.
