Hospicio Cabañas

One of the biggest and most established hospital and orphanage complexes in the Americas was the Hospicio Cabañas, also known as the Cabañas Museum, located in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The muralist José Clemente Orozco’s magnum opus frescoes are displayed in the main hall of the now-museum. In 1997, the location received the UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
