Mavericks Beach, Half Moon

Mavericks is a surfing spot in Princeton-by-the-Sea, northern California, approximately north of Half Moon Bay town, outside Pillar Point Harbour. Waves in the northern Pacific Ocean can regularly peak at over 60 feet and crest at over 25 feet during a powerful winter storm. Seismometers are frequently used to record breaking waves.
