McCord Museum


Formerly the McCord Museum of Canadian History, the McCord Stewart Museum is a research and education facility open to the public. With over 2.5 million pictures, documents, and works of art, the Museum’s Archives, Documentary Art, Dress, Fashion and Textiles, Indigenous Cultures, and Photography collections position it as the guardian of a rare historical heritage. It is situated in Montreal, Quebec, Canada’s downtown area, immediately across the street from McGill University.
