Renfrew Swinging Bridge

When the W.H. Kearney family first constructed this magnificent bridge in 1885, it was less secure and more terrifying than the one they have now. The bridge was rebuilt using wood and cable after undergoing two separate building phases.
Because it swings with every step you take, the Renfrew Swinging Bridge provides a unique experience.

The Bonnechere River, with its big exposed boulders, flows quickly beneath the bridge. Additionally, Renfrew’s own power generating plant, finished in 2015, is visible.
