Rocher Percé


Percé Rock, also known as Rocher Percé (French for “pierced rock”), is a massive sheer rock formation located at Percé Bay in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence at the point of the Gaspé Peninsula in Québec, Canada. From a distance, Percé Rock resembles a ship sailing. It is regarded as a historically and geologically significant natural landmark of Quebec and one of the biggest natural arches in the world situated in water. In the Gaspésie region, it is a popular destination.
