The Museum of Flight

In the Seattle metropolitan region, there is a private, nonprofit air and space museum called the Museum of Flight. It is situated immediately south of Seattle in the city of Tukwila, near the southernmost point of King County International Airport (Boeing Field). It was founded in 1965 and has the American Alliance of Museums’ full accreditation. It also offers extensive K–12 educational activities in addition to being the world’s largest private air and space museum.
