At the southern tip of Ontario’s Georgian Bay is the Canadian town of Wasaga Beach. The Niagara Escarpment may be seen from its expansive, sandy beach, which is located on Nottawasaga Bay. The Nottawasaga River’s winding canoe courses are well-known in this area. Near the river’s mouth, Nancy Island Historic Site honors the War of 1812. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park, which is home to local species, is crisscrossed with footpaths and bicycle tracks.
