California’s Osemite National Park is a national park. The Sierra National Forest borders it on the southeast, while Stanislaus National Forest borders it on the northwest. Overlooking Tuolumne and Mariposa, the park spans seventy-nine,620 acres in four counties, stretching north and east to Mono and south to Madera. It is overseen by the National Park Service.
