Zihuatanejo Beach

Located in the Mexican state of Guerrero, Zihuatanejo is the state’s fourth largest city. English seafarers in the eighteenth century referred to it as Chequetan or Seguataneo. Though both are referred to as Zihuatanejo, the city is actually part of the municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta in Guerrero’s western region.
